Terms of service
These terms apply when you use Beetle apps, including Beetle for Gym. They are an agreement between you and Beetle ("Beetle", "we"). By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use Beetle
Beetle apps are for businesses and their owners or authorised staff, aged 18 or older. You must give accurate details about yourself and your business.
Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. Keep your phone secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your members' data
- You add only people who are your members or customers, and you enter their details accurately.
- Before adding a member, you get their agreement to receive membership updates and offers from your business via Beetle on WhatsApp, and you confirm this in the app.
- You respect opt-outs. When a member asks to stop messages, you mark it in the app (replies of STOP are handled automatically).
- You do not use Beetle to send spam, misleading, offensive or unlawful content, and you follow WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies.
You own your members' data. We process it to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy.
Fees
Beetle for Gym costs ₹20 per member per month. Counted for active and inactive members only. Taxes extra. WhatsApp messaging costs are included. We bill you directly; you never pay WhatsApp or Meta yourself. We may limit unusually high messaging volumes to protect the service for all gyms. We will tell you at least 30 days before any price change.
Acceptable use
Do not try to access other businesses' data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the WhatsApp number at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
The service
We work to keep Beetle available and accurate, but we provide it "as is". WhatsApp delivery depends on Meta and on the recipient's phone, so we cannot guarantee that every message is delivered or read. Membership dates and statuses are calculated from the details you enter; please check them.
Ending your account
You can stop using Beetle and ask us to close your account at any time. See data deletion for what happens to your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Beetle is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue from a missed renewal. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will tell you in the app or by message before they apply. Continuing to use Beetle after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Indore, India.
